About the Kingborough Municipality Tasmania

Tasmania's Kingborough Municipality lies either side of the D'Entrecasteaux Channel and has approximately 80kms of sheltered waterways with pretty beaches nestling in peaceful coves. The suburb of Kingston is the commercial centre of the municipality and here you will find shopping complexes, sandy beaches where you can sail, ski or swim and two championship golf courses.

Further south through Blackmans Bay lies Tinderbox, offering spectacular views of Storm Bay and the Channel as well as an underwater snorkelling trail.
